Mohammed Kami Sherazi (a student of College of Engineering and Applied Sciences) won second prize in the 2010 National Software Development Trade Show organized by the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) and hosted by the Dubai Knowledge Village. Mohammed Kami Sherazi copped the award for his graduation project entitled: "Nonparametric Identification of DC Motor System Using Neural Networks". Sherazi worked on this project under the supervision of Dr. Muaiad Al-Faisal, a faculty member of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Al Ghurair University.
